I taught mathematics at Dar es Salaam Academy in Dar es Salaam from 2007 to 2018. Most days I taught Grade 8, and I learned every name in the first week.
Over the years I had 300 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Akoth
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

What gifts mean to Akoth: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
