I taught early years and history at Cedar Grove Primary School, Embakasi. I played music while people worked.
I coached the school's quiz team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
More about Akoth
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the mountains, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
