I came to teaching late, after working as an accountant, and 15 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Outside the classroom I fix old bicycles. Inside it, I always have a bag of oranges in my drawer.
More about Akoth
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Akoth: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

You taught me music in 2023 at Nairobi Public School. I still remember the day the fire alarm went off during the exam. Truly.
