Akoth Achieng Rashidi
35 years teaching chemistry in Nairobi
- 🇰🇪 Nairobi, Nairobi, Kenya
- Nairobi Grammar School
- Since 1997
- English, Swahili, French
For 29 years I have been the chemistry teacher at Nairobi Grammar School. I teach first-year students and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I've had 750 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

If you were in my first-year students class, you probably remember the volcano experiment that got a bit out of hand.
