Akosua Zakaria
25 years teaching geography in Tema
- 🇬🇭 Tema, Greater Accra, Ghana
- Tema Middle School
- Since 1987
- English, Twi, Spanish
For 39 years I have been the geography teacher at Tema Middle School. I teach Year 9 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I've run the reading group after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I make terrible puns.
More about Akosua
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the science museum, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Akosua: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
