Akira Uchida

Teacher at Tokyo Primary School, loves mathematics

  • 🇯🇵 Tokyo, Tokyo, Japan
  • 2001 to 2019
  • Japanese
For 18 years I was the mathematics teacher at Tokyo Primary School. I taught Grade 11 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help. I coached the school's quiz team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.

More about Akira

If you were in my Grade 11 class, you probably remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard.

What gifts mean to Akira: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
