Akira Hiroshi Ishikawa
Master of painting and decorating, now teaching apprentices
- 🇯🇵 Osaka, Osaka, Japan
- Osaka Repairs
- 2003 to 2020
- Japanese
My trade is painting and decorating. I opened my own shop in 2003 in Osaka and I'm still there most mornings.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I take the work seriously, though not myself.

What gifts mean to Akira: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
