Akira Hasegawa

21 years teaching history in Tokyo

  • 🇯🇵 Tokyo, Tokyo, Japan
  • Starlight Girls' School
  • Since 1978
  • English, Japanese
I teach history at Starlight Girls' School in Tokyo since 1978. Most days I teach Grade 6, and I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk. My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.

What gifts mean to Akira: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
