Akinyi Zawadi Mollel
Self-taught mural painting artist
- 🇰🇪 Nairobi, Nairobi, Kenya
- Sunrise Pottery
- 2005 to 2020
- English
I work mostly in mural painting, sometimes digital art. My first show was in 2005 at Sunrise Pottery, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
I carry a notebook everywhere. My studio is always a bit of a mess.
More about Akinyi
I've had 7 small exhibitions over the years. My favorite was the one with the worst lighting.
What gifts mean to Akinyi: A gift would go toward materials for my next series.
