Akinyi Wangari Kimaro
Software mentor, Nairobi
- 🇰🇪 Nairobi, Nairobi, Kenya
- Sunrise Learning Hub
- Since 2000
- English, Swahili
I started mentoring after a colleague did the same for me. Since then I've worked with 1,200 people through Sunrise Learning Hub.
Most of my mentees are early in their careers. A few are in their fifties and starting over, and they're some of my favorites.
Thank you for stopping by.
More about Akinyi
If I mentored you, I hope you're still pushing yourself.
What gifts mean to Akinyi: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.

You helped me get my first software job in 2014. I still have your notes. Greetings from Heraklion.
