Akinyi Rose Mwende
Organic chemistry lecturer, Since 2002
- 🇰🇪 Eldoret, Uasin Gishu, Kenya
- Since 2002
- English, Swahili
I've spent 24 years as a lecturer in organic chemistry at Eldoret College in Eldoret. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Akinyi
Some of my favorite days were field trips that went spectacularly wrong.

You supervised my thesis in 2007 and never once made me feel small. Greetings from Spokane.
