Akinyi Nabirye Nakamya
Teacher at Embakasi Public School, loves design and technology
- 🇰🇪 Embakasi, Nairobi, Kenya
- Since 1982
- English
For 44 years I have been the design and technology teacher at Embakasi Public School. I teach the youngest children and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Akinyi
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
