I've been a nurse for 33 years, most of them in rehabilitation at Gateway General Hospital in Fort Portal. Night shifts taught me patience, and patients taught me everything else.
The thing I'm proudest of is that families usually remember my name. I run most mornings.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
