I teach mathematics and accounting at Dar es Salaam Primary School, Dar es Salaam. I always have a bag of oranges in my drawer.
Outside the classroom I run most mornings. Inside it, I always have a bag of oranges in my drawer.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Akello
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the coast, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Akello: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
