Akello Hamisi

Art teacher at Holy Cross High School, Since 1999

🇹🇿 Dar es Salaam, Dar es Salaam, Tanzania
Holy Cross High School
Since 1999
English, Swahili

Holy Cross High School is my second home. I teach art there since 1999, mostly Grade 4. Outside the classroom I run most mornings. Inside it, I learn every name in the first week.

More about Akello

The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

You taught me art in 2007 at Holy Cross High School. I still remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard.
