I teach social studies and environmental science at Sacramento Girls' School, Sacramento. My door was open at lunch.
Over the years I've had 2,630 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Akash
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

What gifts mean to Akash: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
