Coached cycling for 32 years in Anaheim
- 🇺🇸 Anaheim, California, United States
- Anaheim Community Club
- 1991 to 2023

For 32 years I ran the cycling program at Anaheim Community Club in Anaheim. We trained 5 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Akash
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Akash: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
