Pottery, done properly
- 🇯🇵 Shinjuku, Tokyo, Japan
- Old Shinjuku Workshop
- 1999 to 2024
- Japanese, French
I'm a pottery specialist. If you live around Shinjuku, there's a good chance I've worked in a building near you.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I take the work seriously, though not myself.
More about Akari
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Akari: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.

You fixed our roof in 1999 and charged half what others asked! Greetings from Contagem.

A small gift is a big thank-you.
