Akari Kumiko Sakai

Drama and accounting teacher, Tokyo

  • 🇯🇵 Tokyo, Tokyo, Japan
  • Hope Public School
  • 2001 to 2022
  • Japanese, English
I taught drama and accounting at Hope Public School, Tokyo. I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term. Over the years I had 1,260 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.

More about Akari

Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the mountains, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

You taught me drama in 2002 at Hope Public School. I still remember the end-of-term party.
