Akari Junko Ando

Biology and French teacher, Sakai

  • 🇯🇵 Sakai, Osaka, Japan
  • Sakai Academy
  • Since 2002
  • Japanese
For 24 years I have been the biology teacher at Sakai Academy. I teach Year 9 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help. Over the years I've had 500 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.

What gifts mean to Akari: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
