I coached cricket at Tokyo Community Club from 1990 to 2014. Most of my players were between 12 and 13, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I walk the dog by the river.
More about Akari
If you played for me, you probably remember the end-of-term party.
What gifts mean to Akari: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
