Akari Himari Hirano

Painter, potter and teacher at Bayview Studio

  • 🇯🇵 Shinjuku, Tokyo, Japan
  • Bayview Studio
  • Since 2014
  • Japanese, French
I'm a woodcarving artist based in Shinjuku. I've been making things since 2014 and I still get excited when a new batch of materials arrives. Most of my work is inspired by the people on my bus route. I sing in a choir. It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

More about Akari

If you've bought a piece of mine, thank you. It's on someone's wall and that still amazes me.
