Ajay T. Maurya
Agriculture and music teacher, Mumbai
- 🇮🇳 Mumbai, Maharashtra, India
- Heritage Primary School
- 1998 to 2008
- English, Hindi
For ten years I was the agriculture teacher at Heritage Primary School. I taught first-year students and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I garden badly but happily. Inside it, I learned every name in the first week.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Ajay
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Ajay: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
