Aishwarya B. Karandikar
Master of painting and decorating, now teaching apprentices
- 🇮🇳 Siliguri, West Bengal, India
- The Windsor Workshop
- Since 1982
- English
I've worked in painting and decorating since 1982. I learned from my grandfather and passed what I could on to 840 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I like to keep things simple and honest.
If you remember me, I'd love to hear from you.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Aishwarya: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
