I taught religious studies and chemistry at Mbarara Primary School, Mbarara. I learned every name in the first week.
Over the years I had 870 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Aisha
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
