For 31 years I was the geography teacher at Medina Technical College. I taught the final-year class and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I run most mornings. Inside it, I always had a bag of oranges in my drawer.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Aisha
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

What gifts mean to Aisha: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

You taught me geography in 1984 at Medina Technical College. I still remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard
