18 years teaching art in Kano
- 🇳🇬 Kano, Kano, Nigeria
- Queensway Academy
- Since 1986
- English, Igbo
For 40 years I have been the art teacher at Queensway Academy. I teach Year 9 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I bake for the whole street at New Year. Inside it, I never raise my voice.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Aisha
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
