Aisha Malak Hamid
Youth chess coach and mentor
- 🇪🇬 Shubra, Cairo, Egypt
- Shubra Sports Club
- Since 1984
- English, Arabic
For 42 years I've run the chess program at Shubra Sports Club in Shubra. We trained 4 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.
More about Aisha
If you played for me, you probably remember the quiz night we nearly won.
What gifts mean to Aisha: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
