Aisha Hauwa Uba
Statistics and physics teacher, Ibadan
- 🇳🇬 Ibadan, Oyo, Nigeria
- Hope Primary School
- Since 2004
- English, Hausa
I came to teaching late, after working as a shop assistant, and 22 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Outside the classroom I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window. Inside it, I learn every name in the first week.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Aisha
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the capital, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

You taught me statistics in 2009 at Hope Primary School. I still remember the long bus ride home. Thank you again.
