Aisha Halima Ajayi
Master of upholstery, now teaching apprentices
- 🇳🇬 Kano, Kano, Nigeria
- Kano Workshop
- 1984 to 2010
- English, Hausa
I'm a upholstery specialist. If you live around Kano, there's a good chance I've worked in a building near you.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I watch every football match going.
More about Aisha
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Aisha: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
