Aileen T. Rivera
Brass band player and teacher in Oakland
- 🇺🇸 Oakland, California, United States
- Oakland Ensemble
- 1982 to 2008
- English, Filipino, French
I play brass band and flute. I started in 1982 with a secondhand instrument and a lot of stubbornness.
I teach about 18 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I fix old bicycles.
If you remember me, I'd love to hear from you.
More about Aileen
I wrote my first song when I was 19. It was terrible and I still love it.
