I came to teaching late, after working as a mechanic, and 22 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I've coached the school's netball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Aileen
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Aileen: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
