Aileen J. Concepcion
Master of weaving, now teaching apprentices
- 🇵🇭 Makati, Metro Manila, Philippines
- Makati Workshop
- Since 1984
- English
My trade is weaving. I opened my own shop in 1984 in Makati and I'm still there most mornings.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
I'm still learning every day.

If I fixed something for you, I hope it's still holding.
What gifts mean to Aileen: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
