Ahmed P. Du Plessis
16 years teaching art in Soweto
- 🇿🇦 Soweto, Gauteng, South Africa
- Soweto Technical College
- 1998 to 2014
- English, Afrikaans
For 16 years I was the art teacher at Soweto Technical College. I taught Grade 6 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I had 300 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.
More about Ahmed
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the coast, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
