Ahmed Mohammed Yassin
Master of blacksmithing, now teaching apprentices
- 🇪🇬 Heliopolis, Cairo, Egypt
- Little Heliopolis Works
- 1978 to 2002
- English, Arabic
I've worked in blacksmithing from 1978 to 2002. I learned from my mother and passed what I could on to 530 apprentices.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I make terrible puns.

What gifts mean to Ahmed: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
