Ahmed Faisal Said
Children's librarian in Cairo
- 🇪🇬 Cairo, Cairo, Egypt
- Cairo Archive
- 1999 to 2007
- English, Arabic, French
For eight years I looked after the shelves, the card catalog and the regulars at Cairo Archive.
Some of my favorite visitors were children who came for the heating and stayed for the books.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Ahmed
I still remember the favorites of every regular.

What gifts mean to Ahmed: I'd put a gift toward a reading corner at the nearby school.
