Ahmad Pandu Simanjuntak
Retired early years teacher from Bandung Grammar School

For 18 years I was the early years teacher at Bandung Grammar School. I taught the youngest children and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I'm always reading two books at once. Inside it, I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Ahmad
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Ahmad: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
