For 44 years I have been the English literature teacher at Beacon Public School. I teach Year 9 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I've had 1,010 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
