I've coached rowing at Summit Athletic Club since 2017. Most of my players were between 9 and 15, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I'm always reading two books at once.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Ahmad
If you played for me, you probably remember the quiz night we nearly won.
What gifts mean to Ahmad: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
