I've volunteered with Mount Pleasant Food Bank since 1996. I started on a Saturday morning "just to help out" and never left.
I'm usually the first one in and the last to leave. Small habits keep a team together.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
What gifts mean to Afshan: I'd put a gift toward transport for our volunteers.
