I've worked in thatching from 1997 to 2005. I learned from my grandmother and passed what I could on to 230 apprentices.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
