I came to teaching late, after working as a nurse, and 47 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I've had 1,220 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Adriana
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the old fort, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Adriana: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
