I've been a nurse for 31 years, most of them in orthopedics at Tehuacán Children's Hospital in Tehuacán. Night shifts taught me patience, and patients taught me everything else.
The thing I'm proudest of is that families usually remember my name. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
