For 28 years I have been the early years teacher at San Francisco High School. I teach first-year students and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I've run the school newspaper after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I sing in a choir.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
