Adnan Hassan Hashmi
Volunteer mentor with Oakwood Youth Network
- 🇵🇰 Sukkur, Sindh, Pakistan
- Oakwood Youth Network
- Since 1986
- English, Urdu
I started mentoring after a colleague did the same for me. Since then I've worked with 1,760 people through Oakwood Youth Network.
I don't give advice so much as ask questions until the answer shows up. I fix old bicycles.
More about Adnan
Some of my mentees now mentor others. That's how it's meant to work.
Areas of mentoring
What gifts mean to Adnan: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.
