Adjoa Araba Manu

Computer science and religious studies teacher, Accra

🇬🇭 Accra, Greater Accra, Ghana
Phoenix Technical College
1988 to 2021
English

I came to teaching late, after working as a nurse, and 33 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else. Over the years I had 1,390 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile. Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.

More about Adjoa

Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the coast, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Adjoa: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
