I've been a nurse for 20 years, most of them in neonatal care at Mount Pleasant Community Hospital in Kisumu. Night shifts taught me patience, and patients taught me everything else.
The thing I'm proudest of is that families usually remember my name. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
