Adhiambo Grace Githinji
Drama and music teacher, Zanzibar City
- 🇹🇿 Zanzibar City, Zanzibar Urban/West, Tanzania
- Zanzibar City Secondary School
- 1981 to 2016
- English
I taught drama at Zanzibar City Secondary School in Zanzibar City from 1981 to 2016. Most days I taught mixed-ability classes, and I never once raised my voice.
I coached the school's football team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Adhiambo
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the farm, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
