Adhiambo Atieno Temba
Painter, potter and teacher at Mukono Gallery
- 🇺🇬 Mukono, Central Region, Uganda
- Mukono Gallery
- Since 1983
- English, Swahili
I work mostly in sculpture, sometimes oil painting. My first show was in 1983 at Mukono Gallery, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
Most of my work is inspired by the people on my bus route. I bake for the whole street at New Year.

If you've bought a piece of mine, thank you. It's on someone's wall and that still amazes me.
