I've volunteered with Sakura Community Kitchen since 1979. I started on a Saturday morning "just to help out" and never left.
I'm not an expert in anything, I just show up. I bake for the whole street at New Year.
More about Adewale
If you've ever been helped by one of our sessions, you're the reason we keep going.
What gifts mean to Adewale: I'd put a gift toward transport for our volunteers.
